One such example was a recent project undertaken for a national provider of Social Housing. With a long-standing relationship this client understands that they can call upon Acumen to handle a diverse range of waste management solutions and this particular job required a quick turnaround, expertise and the capabilities to ensure that all waste was safely collected and disposed of.

The job in question required Acumen to undertake a full house clearance with the property being left in considerable distress and needing specialist clearance and cleaning throughout. With a plan in place two operatives set about cleaning and sanitising the property. This involved removing, clearing and disposing of in excess of 500 needles whilst also removing all waste and belongings inside of the property. Once all items had been removed the operatives then undertook a complete chemical clean along with a thorough treatment for fleas.

From start to finish the job took a total of four days and all waste was quickly, safely and compliantly disposed of. After the clearing and deep clean of each room within the building the property was returned to a fit for purpose state, allowing the client to once again house tenants.
