Celebrating 35 years of Acumen
2024 marked Acumen’s 35th anniversary! While we’ve evolved over the years with new customers, services, and growth, our core values remain the same. We provide exceptional service to every client, big or small.
Giving back to the community
Acumen is proud to contribute to our communities through social value projects, like working with Your Housing Group. In 2024, we helped transform a courtyard into a space for vulnerable young people, providing shelter and privacy. Through our B.E.S.T initiative, we ensure our services continue to benefit local charities and causes across the UK.
Integration into Beauparc
Since being acquired by Beauparc in 2022, we’ve enjoyed being part of a larger group of waste management specialists, allowing us to offer even better services. Our dedicated Acumen team works closely with Beauparc’s experts to deliver top-notch waste management solutions.
Introducing new services
In 2024, we introduced our Clearance and Clean service, designed to restore commercial and residential properties to a high standard of cleanliness, especially after biohazard situations. We provide efficient cleaning for clients across the UK, from social housing organisations to property developers.
Expanding to new areas
We also opened our new operational hub in Stockton-on-Tees, boosting our services in the Northeast and supporting emerging industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, and food production. This expansion aligns with our vision of advancing our Industrial Services division.
