Acumen Waste Services worked in partnership with their customer Places for People in the refurbishment of the Service Six Community Centre.
Service Six is a community charity based in Northampton. They specialize in providing outcome based professional therapeutic support, diversionary and activity services for thousands of hard-to-reach disadvantaged children, young people, adults and families.
Acumen supplied waste management services over the 2-week project, removing both general, mixed and recyclable waste from the refurbishment. Three employees from Acumen volunteered for the project and also helped with the landscaping, soft refurbishment and decorating works.
Karl Evans, Contract Account Manager at Acumen commented on the recent project: “Acumen are a strong supporter of charities and were delighted to help with the refurbishment of the Service Six Community Centre alongside our customer Place for People. It is great to see a charity providing a variety of opportunities to the more vulnerable members of the community.”
