Acumen is delighted to announce that our football team finished as semi-finalists, losing the to the eventual winners in the Waste World Cup.
The Waste World Cup is one of the highlights of the companies sporting calendar and pits Acumen’s team against 29 other waste companies, including Mick George and Wybone in a winner takes all knockout competition. To make the competition inclusive and fair, one woman must always be on the field of play.
This is the second year Acumen has competed well at the competition, having won the plate tournament last year. You can read about last years’ competition here.
