Packaged Waste
We are leaders in providing packaged waste producers the level of management and support they need to comply with the ever-changing legislation regarding waste disposal.
Packaged waste can contain a range of hazardous and non-hazardous components such as solvents, acids, alkalis, WEEE, aerosols, batteries, oils, paints, fluorescent tubes and bulbs.
We can collect and process anything from a small packages such as lab waste to drummed wastes and IBCs. To do this, we offer a variety of hazardous waste containers to enable safe transportation of hazardous materials, from 240ltr and 1100ltr wheelie bins for oil contaminated absorbents to coffins for recycling fluorescent tubes and bulbs.
Bulk Waste
We are leaders in the collect and treatment of both hazardous and non-hazardous bulk liquid waste. With our network of depots, we ensure the most cost effective and appropriate method of collecting and treating your liquid waste.
We collect bulk liquid wastes from a wide range of container type, including tanks, drums, storage pits, interceptors and spray booths.
The current fleet comprises of multiple barrel types including stainless steel, glass lined, tipping barrels and high-power vacuum tankers provided for heavy sludge and solids removal. These are suitable for a diverse array of waste streams, from effluent collections made in the food industry, manufacturing, oil interceptors from car parks, roadside gully’s, tank cleaning services as well as spent acid, most commonly found in the galvanising industry.

Asbestos
We are leaders in the provision of asbestos transport and disposal.
Acumen is an established provider within this sector and are members of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA).
We provide transparency of transactions and movements of hazardous waste, traceability and ease of auditing via our client portal with unique log on credentials. Acumen transport asbestos waste directly to landfill with our own purpose built roll-on roll-off containers, 20 or 35 cubic yard and open or enclosed skips depending on the waste and volume of waste.
Having our own fleet of hook- lift vehicles and trailers means we can offer a very efficient service to all customers with very competitive time frames. Audit trails and consignment notes are generated for each collection making us fully compliant with all HSE requirements.
