Acumen Awarded Multi-Region Waste Management Contract for Sanctuary Housing

Sanctuary Housing are one of the UKs largest social housing landlords, managing more than 100,000 homes across England and Scotland. Following a formal tender process Acumen were awarded the contract for waste management services across multiple regions.

Acumen have been leading the way with Social Housing based revolutionary technologies. We work with some of the largest businesses across the country and have identified the requirement for operatives to direct tip material directly with recycling facilities.

Market Leading Recycling Facility Technology

Acumen have developed a market leading technology to enable mobile workforces to identify a nationwide network of pre-qualified recycling facilities where waste can be taken directly. Sanctuary are fundamental in the development of the technologies as Acumen work closely with site teams to improve and ensure their service offering is continuously developing.

The aim is to elevate administrative burden or down time trying to locate disposal outlets so that focus can remain with the job at hand. Skip, RORO and adhoc collection services are the commonly used services where time and access restrictions must be managed closely to ensure services are delivered in line with strict KPI’s. Therefore, on-site waste management teams also look to schedule and supervise a variety of waste management solutions.
