Making Waste Disposal Even Easier with Dsposal
One of the highlights of 2020 for the team at Acumen was when we started a long-term working partnership with Manchester-based waste tech company, Dsposal. This collaboration allows users access to waste management services, directly from Acumen, with the click of a button. Acumen then work with directed customers to utilise our ‘Man in a Van’ domestic and business waste collection service which incorporates the collection and disposal of a wide range of waste products.
Garden Waste Collection
The service has already started to gain traction and one such example was when Acumen received an enquiry, via Dsposal, regarding the collection of garden waste at a domestic property. The team contacted the customer to understand the waste removal needing to be carried out and worked closely with the client to achieve job completion within a tight time frame. The job was completed as requested removing debris of trees and other garden waste, saving the customer both time and effort of disposing the waste themselves.
Acumen Helps with Waste Collection for Electrical Business
A specialist electricals manufacturing and installation organisation contacted Acumen regarding the removal of mercury circuits from their premises. To ensure the best solution was recommended the team at Acumen called and spoke to the client to better understand their business and their requirements. After a productive conversation the client realised Acumen could help with a lot more of their electrical waste management and waste disposal needs. The electrical company had previously worked with a competitor of Acumen but felt the customer service levels had not been up to standard and much preferred the consultative and collaborative approach provided by Acumen at each stage of the project.
Acumen conducted a site visit where the client’s needs could be assessed, and the team could implement other long terms solutions for their waste. Such solutions included placing Acubins on site, rather than drums for rags, so they can be wheeled around the workshop and aid employee health and safety. The waste team then collected a full artic loaded with various different wastes from multiple sites and set about the safe and compliant disposal of their waste.
