Operating all Essential Services on a ‘Business as Usual Basis’

We would like to let everyone know that, despite these difficult and uncertain times, Acumen is operating all essential services on a ‘business as usual basis’.

As set out by the UK Government in recent guidance, our sector has been identified under ‘key worker’ provisions and we at Acumen have reviewed the guidance and adopted the principles and advice that has been provided to us. Therefore, we have identified our essential services and these include our fully compliant waste treatment and transfer facilities which support essential UK infrastructure and manufacturing as does our Industrial Site Services. Our ISS cleaning crews are not only dedicated to providing essential maintenance support for the cleansing of industry infrastructure, we are currently experiencing a high demand for our Coronavirus Decontamination services and in particular deep cleaning of office buildings and industrial premises to remove potential contamination associated with the current Coronavirus outbreak.

We would also like to let you know that, in line with current guidance, we have taken steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all of our employees and their families. Most of our office based staff have been provided with the facilities and infrastructure to work from home, leaving only skeleton staff attending our offices where absolutely necessary. We have also looked to postpone any non-essential works for our clients where this is mutually acceptable.
