A successful first appearance and an award-winning performance at GroundsFest 2025

ClearWater made a strong debut at this year’s GroundFest, taking home one of the inaugural innovation awards for ‘Standing the Test of Time’ judged by HortWeek. The award highlights the benefits of our self-sustainable systems for grounds maintenance and recognises the innovation and hard work that go into every ClearWater solution.

Showcasing the ClearWater system

At GroundsFest, ClearWater’s outside pitch gave attendees a hands-on look at our 5,000 litre ClearWater tank, chemical storage units, grass and silt traps, and a fully operational water hose capable of delivering up to 8 bar (120 psi) of pressure. Visitors could see first hand how the system efficiently captures, filters, and recycles wash water, reducing environmental impact and improving operational efficiency.

The demonstration reinforced the practical value of our closed-loop water recycling system, which helps grounds teams reduce water consumption, stay compliant with environmental regulations, and cut costs associated with drainage and water use.

Engaging a wider audience

GroundsFest 2025 attracted professionals from across the grounds maintenance sector, including football and rugby clubs, public schools, councils, and machinery dealerships, particularly from the south of the UK. This gave ClearWater the perfect opportunity to connect with a broader audience beyond traditional greenkeeping and showcase how our solutions can support a wide range of facilities operations.

Award recognition and celebration

Winning the Innovation Award was a proud moment for the ClearWater team. It recognises the commitment and ingenuity behind a product designed to deliver long-term value for grounds maintenance operations.

Looking Ahead

Following such a successful first appearance, ClearWater is already planning to return next year to demonstrate our systems, connect with more professionals, and continue leading innovation in the grounds care sector.
