Acumen Waste are thrilled to announce, for the second year running, they are the official sponsors and shirt sponsors of Stockton Sportability Football Club for the 2019/20 season.
Stockton Sportability Football Club was originally launched 11 years ago by Chris Homer for individuals aged 16 and above with different levels of learning difficulties. Due to the teams growing popularity, this season two teams will be entered into the leagues, made up of players from a variety of backgrounds both disabled and able-bodied. Joining Stockton Sportability allows players to continue playing a sport they love and gives them the freedom to have some fun regardless of their conditions.
Andy Crossley, Managing Director of Acumen Waste, commented: “We are a strong supporter of community causes and are delighted to renew our partnership with Stockton Sportability for a second season running.
It is great to see a club providing a variety of opportunities to those with learning difficulties, allowing them to get highly involved in the teams and have fun whilst playing. Due to its success the teams are proving more and more popular, which is great to see. We are all looking forward to seeing the shirts back on the pitch.”
Mal Buxton, Secretary of Stockton Sportability, commented: “We have a great relationship with Acumen and are thrilled they have decided to be the official sponsor for a second season.
We rely heavily on businesses like them offering sponsorship, therefore, their continued support is highly valued at the club.”
