Acumen’s asbestos division has recently relocated to a new site in Wolverhampton, marking an important step in streamlining operations and improving day-to-day efficiency. The move brings the team’s office and yard together on one site for the first time, creating a more connected and collaborative working environment.
Previously, the Asbestos office and yard were located separately – around 100 yards apart – which presented logistical challenges for the team. The new site, situated just 1.5 miles from the previous location, allows our people, vehicles, and containers to operate side by side, enhancing coordination and strengthening service delivery for our customers.
The move coincides with an update to the fleet, with a new 25-plate hook loader added in May, and another vehicle delivered only a few weeks ago. These additions ensure the Asbestos division remains equipped with modern, reliable vehicles to support ongoing and future projects.
This relocation reflects Acumen’s continued commitment to investing in the tools, infrastructure, and working environments that enable our teams to perform at their best – ensuring we deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality services to our customers across the UK.
